Meet Us!

Alright! I thought it might be a good idea for our first post to be a “meet us” type of post!

We are identical twin brothers. Brock is the older twin by two minutes! We grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and made the move to Nashville, Tennessee a little more than a year ago.

Before social media! We did completely different things. Brock did a lot of basketball/sports and Boston did a lot of acting/plays. Ever since we were little we had our differences but one thing we had in common was that we were creative and always tried to invent or make something! One time we were in our sandbox/playground area and thought it would be a good idea to create a “homemade” zip line. We got a chain from our swing set and clipped in onto the top of our playground to this tree that was a few yards away. We were with our neighborhood friend and he volunteered to go first. He climbed his way to the top of the playset and went for it. Before even getting a couple feet down it snapped, making him fall backwards onto the sand. Dust flew up and the wind got knocked out of him. Luckily nothing bad happened other than a few scrapes. That was for sure not our brightest invention…

We never really thought of starting a YouTube channel until one day our older sister Alyssa said that we should start one up for fun. We agreed and she helped film and edit the video for us. That video was a quick few minute Q and A uploaded in June of 2016 (keep in mind we were only 12 years old! Haha!). We weren’t really consistent on posting, up until 2018. We mainly filmed random challenges and vlogs. Once we started being more consistent we eventually hit our first 1,000 subscribers. That day was insane for us!!! Since then we have been uploading videos weekly on our YouTube channel “Brock and Boston”.

We are both seniors in high school and plan to graduate in just a few short months! We decided this year we were going to continue online school which has so far worked the best for us. This has given us time to create more content and pick up on a few more projects!

Last March we bought a house and planned on renovating it. It was a whole new experience for us. We set out on looking for a few other houses and made multiple offers until we landed on the perfect one for us. It was a fairly new house but needed a lot of updates. This was great for us because when we had extra time in our day we would go and work on the house projects whether that was tiling a bathroom or painting the walls. When I say we learned a lot from this, we REALLY did. We had somewhat of an idea on how to do things but we were lucky enough to have the help of our Dad and YouTube. There is no way we would be able to do it without those two! Haha! If you are interested in hearing more about what we did I’ll link pictures and our videos below.
